Such an exciting summer 2012
Following the great success of Hagit Yakira's last work Anna Blue in collaboration with Tanzcompagnie Giessen, and many inspiring creative workshops such as our collaboration with Sadler's Wells Arts Club, we are looking forward to our exciting future plans. Creating a choreography for Dance United, leading a creative project with Clean Break and a performance project for Big Dance 2012 in collaboration with the JCC are only a few of them.
We are looking for professional contemporary dancers and performers for Hagit's new production with rehearsals starting in the summer and continuing in the autumn of 2012. Performances to be starting at the beginning of 2013. Hagit will lead a workshop which will be an opportunity to meet potential collaborators. The workshop will take place on the 10th June. Please note that attendance is by invitation only.
If you are interested please send a short biography and add a letter expressing your interest. Please email it to hagit@hagityakira.com If you cannot attend the workshop on that specific date please let us know in your email as other dates might become available. All the information about the production, fees and rehearsal times will be given to you at the workshop.
And last but not least we can't have a summer without sweating. Hagit is teaching again this year at ImpulsTanz, Vienna between 21 and 28 July both professional dancers and beginners, as well as in the dance summer school of Bikureyhaitim, Tel Aviv, Israel. Arts Council Funding
We are delighted to announce that Hagit Yakira Company is now supported by Arts Council England. We aim to celebrate our success by taking our new project 'Sunday Morning' to more audiences around England!
