Anna-Maria is an experienced arts marketer specialising in dance. Her background studies are in Media & Communication (BA) and Comparative Literature (MSc). She started working at Strange Town, a theatre company for young people in Edinburgh, and then moved to London to work for The Place where she now has the role of Communications Officer. Her speciality lies in digital marketing and social media; she loves A/B testing and increasing numbers of engagement. She led the first Snapchat campaign by a UK arts organisation and wrote an article about it on JAM.

She started dancing when she was four years old and has never since stopped. She was lucky to be able to combine her biggest passion with work, and it's been the most rewarding experience she could ever hope for. Anna-Maria met Hagit as a participant for the community project On Falling and Recovering and was fascinated by her approach to dance and creating art.
