2025 marks Stavanger's 900-year Jubilee. Throughout the year, there will be many different activities and markings of it around Stavanger city and Stavanger's surroundings. CityFest is one of the biggest anchors of the year; it will take place at the end of April for a long-celebrated weekend. Stavanger Kommune and Kulture Kompaniet produce the event , which will be spread all around the centre of Stavanger and will hold performances, workshops, and different activities for the people of Stavanger (please see attachment 2) in five different locations.

Hagit is the artistic director and main choreographer for the event that will take place in Bjergsted Park. The idea for the event at Bjergstedparken is to celebrate the park as a creative hub. And to celebrate art as a creative process, as a collaborative act that brings people together, that enables inclusivity and that combines people, nature, music and dance. Hagit’s role is to choreograph a site-specific performance for 40 dancers (professional, students at the university, high school, and childern). Hagit will collaborate with the composer and musician Marius Nesset. A big stage will be built in the park, where 30 musicians (a combination of students from the faculty of Performing Arts and professional musicians) will perform Marius Nesset’s composition alongside him.
