Geneviève Giron, born in Brittany, France, obtained a French Bachelor of English Literature before training professionally in Dance. She followed courses at Epsedanse, Montpellier and Centre James Carlès in Toulouse. She then moved to London to complete her training at Laban where she graduated in 2010 with a 1st class BA.
Geneviève has performed for Lizzi Kew Ross, Redtape Dance Company, Dreckly Productions (now The Most Everything People) Fuzzy Lights music band and Lauren Barri The Famous Holstein. She has choreographed in France and in England for schools, Collectif No Piano, TrinityLaban, Dirty Market and has co-founded The Latecomers Collective with Dance and Lighting Artists Anne-Gaëlle Thiriot and Fay Patterson.
Geneviève has also worked as a freelance technician for the last three years in venues such as Laban, Goldsmith’s, The Broadway Theatre, The Old Vic Tunnels, Siobhan Davies… She is now pursuing her career in production management and has a growing interest in Lighting.
