Born in Finland and raised in Santiago, Chile, Wilhelmina began her professional dance studies in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance. During her time at Laban she had the priviledge of working with Sara Wookey, Stephanie Schober and Ben Wright. Alongside her training she has worked with Hagit Yakira for the ‘’On falling and recovering’’ community project. Wilhelmina has also worked with the makers of Reykjavik Dance Festival in 2015.

Wilhelmina is currently about to complete her Masters degree in Dance Performance as part of the internationally touring Transitions Dance Company 2017-2018. Alongside performing, Wilhelmina is passionate about choreography and is excited to be able to develop her artistic voice as a Young Associate Artist at Sadler’s Wells. As a freelance dance artist Wilhelmina has taught contemporary dance classes at Ahjola Community Centre Tampere for three years before moving to London, and currently continues to teach yoga and mindfulness practices alongside dance.
